If so, we invite you to participate in the Geethavani Awards 2024!
About the Geethavani Awards:
The Geethavani Awards celebrate exceptional vocal and instrumental talent within our community. This year, we have special categories for vocalists, veena players, and flutists, and we would love to see you showcase your skills.
How to Participate:
- Record two Tamil Movie Songs in MP3 format. Your recordings can be with or without backing music. Do not send classical or other formats.
- Email your MP3 files along with your contact details (phone number) and the category number you wish to enter to geethavani@jhcobasydney.org.au.
Categories:
- Category 1: Vocal – Age 18 years old or less
- Category 2: Vocal – Age 18 years above
- Category 3: Veena
- Category 4: Flute
Selected participants will receive comprehensive training sessions to help prepare for the awards ceremony, where you will perform in front of a live audience. Winners will be chosen by the audience themselves!
Geethavani Awards 2024 Date: Sunday, 6th October 2024
Deadline for submissions: 31st July 2024
